ARTIST STATEMENT:

I find beauty in decay and nostalgia. I follow my curiosity. In search of something new or something hidden, I have discovered a colorful, worn, forgotten, nostalgic world that most do not see. New to my eyes but not new to the world, I savor the visual details of the past. I am drawn in by the history beneath the layers of rust. I photograph the forgotten and the hidden. While the shine of newness grabs our limited attention today, I am busy discovering our decaying past.
